International platform for architects, engineers, scientists and the building industry

The aim of the Conference on Advanced Building Skins is to achieve a multi-disciplinary, integrated planning approach with architects, engineers, scientists, manufacturers and the building industry to reduce energy consumption of buildings. The annual international conference attracts 800 participants from over fifty countries. The Conference will be held at the Congress Center Kursaal in Bern, Switzerland, 26-27 October 2020.

The conference will be held in English.

15th Advanced Building Skins Conference, 26-27 October 2020 takes place as a Webinar

The Council of the Canton of Bern has taken further measures to contain Covid-19, and as of Sunday 25th October, events with more than 15 people, including conferences and exhibitions are now prohibited.

Therefore the 15th Advanced Building Skins Conference 2020 will be held exclusively as a webinar. Our speakers will be presenting from the Kursaal Conference Centre in Bern, Switzerland without participants on-site.

For those that were due to attend, rest assured that we will credit all paid registration fees to our 16th Advanced Building Skins Conference & Expo in 2021, which will take place from 21-22 October and we look forward to seeing you then in Bern.
