    We have integrated Google Maps in order to easily indicate our conference venue.

The processing of your personal data is carried out in accordance with the following legal bases:

  • Enabling the use of the website (legitimate interest: presentation of the service portfolio of the Data Controller and to enable contact by existing and prospective customers)

Our website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25 in 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.  Personal data will be shared with third parties only if this is necessary for the prevention of criminal offences and/or we are otherwise legally obliged to do so.

Personal data is automatically erased after 14 months.

Your consent is obtained for the processing of the data as part of our registration form, which includes the GTCs of Xing SE and their Privacy Policy. Our website uses Google Maps to guide you to our conference venue. Upon accessing Google Maps, personal data will be collected automatically. The processing of your personal data takes place to indicate the position of our conference venue (legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). By visiting the appropriate website, Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA receives information about which of our websites you have visited. The European Commission has decided in its Adequacy Decision (EU) 2016/1250 of 12 July 2016 (EU-US Privacy Shield) that there is an adequate level of data protection in the USA. We have added the code "anonymizeIP" to the Google Analytics service on this website. This guarantees the masking of your IP address, to allow that all data is collected anonymously. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there.

3.10.4. Storage duration / right of erasure, objection and rectification
Your data will be deleted by Google after 14 months. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly. 3.10.5. Type and extent of the processing of personal data
We use the online advertising service Google Ads and its conversion tracking. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service of Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA: "Google". The cookie transfers the same information as with Google Analytics (see section above).

3.10.6. Purposes and legal basis for the processing of personal data
When you click on an advertisement provided by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is placed on your computer. The information collected with the help of the conversion cookie is used to generate conversion statistics. This informs us of the total number of users who have clicked on our advertisements and been directed to a page that contains a conversion tracking tag. Use of Google Ads is based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 (f) GDPR.

3.10.7. Transfer of your data to a third country or to international organizations and presence of the adequacy decision
