How to get to Kursaal Bern and the conference hotels

The conference venue is the Kursaal Congress Centre, within walking distance of the old town of Bern at only 5 minutes from the main railway station (tram No.9). Below you will find information on how to get there.

Arriving by public transport:
At Bern central railway station take tram No. 9 towards “Wankdorf Bahnhof “; the tram leaves every ten minutes and will take only 5 minutes to arrive at the Kursaal.

Arriving by plane:
International airports close to Bern are Zurich, Basel, Geneva, Frankfurt and Milan:

• Zurich Airport to Bern Central Station (Bahnhof): 75 minutes (direct trains)
• Basel Airport to Bern Central Station (Bahnhof): 80 minutes
• Geneva Airport to Bern Central Station (Bahnhof): 2:00h (direct trains)
• Frankfurt Airport to Bern Central Station (Bahnhof): 4:00h
• Milano Malpensa to Bern Central Station (Bahnhof): 4:40h

Arriving by car: Take motorway exit “Bern-Wankdorf” and continue towards "Zentrum"; from Papiermühlestrasse turn right into Viktoriastrasse; at Viktoriaplatz turn left into Kornhausstrasse. The Kursaal is located 100 metres further on the right (under the bridge).
